LOVING OUR OCEANS NOW

Sarika Ganguli has had a strong love for the ocean and everything it encompasses since the time she could speak. Sarika did not grow up around the ocean, but she was able to travel to many places and that allowed her to continue to love the oceans throughout her life. Her love for dolphins stands out the most, as they are the animal's dearest to her heart. She is a fourth-year undergraduate student in Environmental Studies at York University and has obtained two substantial scholarships. Sarika is fuelled by her passion for the ocean and her drive to conserve and preserve it, so that future generations won't need to. At 20 years old her hunger for knowledge, determination, and her ability to turn knowledge into action has driven her to start Loving Our Oceans Now. Her passion for the ocean will inspire you to fight for the oceans too.
